Fussy Cutting For PL|Michelle Wedertz

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday! Today I wanted to share a quick little trick to add both dimension and detail to your PL pages! One of the qualities that make PL so appealing, is the ease of putting layouts together. Having a  beautiful set of cards like the one in the September PL Kit ready to go is a great time saver. However, if you ever find yourself with a spot of extra time or just want to try something new, than giving fussy cutting a go might be the thing!

Hello June 1

This blue journaling card could have definitely stood alone, but I wanted to give it an extra bet of something, so I reached for my favorite pair of scissors and a piece of the gorgeous patterned paper in the Scrapbook Kit. I cut a small leafy vine out and lightly adhered it to the card making sure to allow for some of the leaves to lift off the card. To finalize the embellishing, I stapled the vine in two places with my Tiny Attacher and a few enamel dots.

Hello June 2

For me at least, fussy cutting can be a little intimidating. My imperfect cutting skills makes me a bit anxious, but doing some cutting in small amounts makes it a bit easier! Thanks for stopping by today!
