Fussy Cutting For PL|Michelle Wedertz

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday! Today I wanted to share a quick little trick to add both dimension and detail to your PL pages! One of the qualities that make PL so appealing, is the ease of putting layouts together. Having aย  beautiful set of cards like the one in the September PL Kit ready to go is a great time saver. However, if you ever find yourself with a spot of extra time or just want to try something new, than giving fussy cutting a go might be the thing!

Hello June 1

This blue journaling card could have definitely stood alone, but I wanted to give it an extra bet of something, so I reached for my favorite pair of scissors and a piece of the gorgeous patterned paper in the Scrapbook Kit. I cut a small leafy vine out and lightly adhered it to the card making sure to allow for some of the leaves to lift off the card. To finalize the embellishing, I stapled the vine in two places with my Tiny Attacher and a few enamel dots.

For me at least, fussy cutting can be a little intimidating. My imperfect cutting skills makes me a bit anxious, but doing some cutting in small amounts makes it a bit easier! Thanks for stopping by today!
