Hello Hik Kit friends – Tazhiana here and I have a super fun layout for you featuring a cut file by Kim Watson!
The second I saw that my assignment was cut files, I knew exactly which one I wanted to feature – this lovely Pinkfresh Indigo Hills 2 inspired wreath. I cut the wreath on regular cardstock from Michaels and then cut the core out of a Pinkfresh paper included in the Main Kit to back the wreath.
After adding some mixed media using the Shimmerz Paints in the Color Kit to a sheet of Bazzill Avalanche cardstock, I added some foam to the navy paper and adhered it to the white cardstock. All that was left was to embellish the layout!
I used a mixture of products from the Main Kit and the Embellishment kit – the Indigo Hills 2 ephemera pack, the Indigo Hills 2 Chipboard pack, and the My Mind’s Eye gold acrylic stickers. I also fussy cut some flowers from the Willow Lane gold foil vellum sheet that was included in the kits. Using the florals and the frames from the packs, I layered and layered and layered until I had a cluster behind my photo that I was happy with. I love how dimensional and intricate it all looks without being super busy and over-crowded.
Next, I turned my eye to the upper left corner and created a cluster using the same products. I added a large floral piece, a coral branch and a chipboard frame to create a diagonal line using the same colors and textures.
Finally, I used the gold acrylic stickers to create my title. The Hello Bestie stickers were perfect for this photo of my husband and one of our cats (she’s totally his cat!) and the soft smile on his face was begging to be scrapped. I grabbed a heart and a bow sticker from the same sheet, scattered them across the page and called the layout done!
I hope you’re inspired to download and cut this awesome wreath and use it on a page of your own! There’s a process video for this page if you would like to listen to me babble as this page comes together.
As always, keep it crafty friends.
