Hello Hip Kit friends – Anke here with a layout inspired by the gorgeous September Mood Board.
I’m a huge fan of mood boards because they can be a great way to get you started.
When I saw the September mood board my eyes were immediately caught by the picture of the layered papers and I decided to use this on my layout. It’s also inspired by the quotes and the embroidered leaf.

For my layout I used the August kits. First I fussy cut some flowers and leaves from the Maggie Holmes “Blossom” paper in the August Main Kit. Then I cut some paper strips , layered them and sewed them on my page. To add more dimension I bent and distressed the edges of the paper. I decided to use the yellow pom pom frame with my photo and to arrange the flowers around it.
On the right side I placed a sticker with a quote. For my title I used stickers from the Accent Sticker sheet in the August Project Life Kit.
I embelished my layout with a piece of the Gold Star Trim from the August Project Life Kit , some stickers and a butterfly from the diecut pack.
Finally I added some color splashes and placed some leftover flowers in the bottom right corner of my layout.
