Hey everyone, it’s Raquel Bowman here and I am so excited to be sharing my first layout on the Hip Kit blog today. For this post today my layout was inspired by the bright and colourful September Mood Board.

I am using the August kits for my layout that I am sharing with you today. I was heavily inspired by the bright colours and layered papers in the Mood Board image. I chose to use a mixture of the Willow Lane ephemera pack in the August Main kit to layer onto my layout in a vertical overlapped fashion. How bright and fun is this Mood Board!?!

I love all the added dimension that can brought to a page when you layer elements. I have used a combination of foam adhesives to bring multiple dimensions to the page. Prior to adhering down the ephemera pieces I also machine stitched through them for further texture and detail.

The title was made up of an ephemera piece and a chipboard piece. It is so fun to play with word stickers and pieces and create your own title. The cute crepe paper ruffle added a nice textured finishing touch to the page.
