Do you have boys & men in your life that make living interesting? Well I do…and those moments need to be scrapped. Hi friends…Kim here with another idea using only the July Main kit & a little paint…creating it was such a fun process. The mixed media, limited color palette & stitching makes it one of my faves this month 😀

Boys will Be Boys by Kim Watson

The thicker cardstock that comes in the cardstock add-on is AMAZING for mixed media. It handles gesso, water & the Pink Fresh Studio liquid inks so well & hardly warps. I highly recommend grabbing the cardstock add-on with your main July kit.

The page is a fun combination of paper piece layers & frames all from my Savannah Dreams collection for Pretty Little Studio.

I also adore the Hip Kit Club exclusives that Kimberly designed, I mean seriously, how cute are the sheet of enamel buttons, puffy sticker alphas & washi tape sheets?? I couldn’t help myself & use a ton on this page.

By lining up all the elements, stitching & torn washi strips in a vertical fashion, I created a fun sort of texture mat, that adds to the crazy theme of the page. Raising elements with foam adhesive is the finishing touches one needs for a truly 3D, artsy page design.
