Hello Hip Kit Club friends! I hope you’re having a fantastic Tuesday so far. It’s Jung here and today I’m sharing my first layout using the June 2018 Hip Kits. I was challenged to use the Pretty Little Studio acetate paper from the Paper Kit. I also used the Cardstock Kit, Color Kit, Project Life Kit, Embellishment Kit, and the Main Kit.
I was cleaning out my scrap room, and I came across these tiny little photos of me when I was in grade school. I don’t think my daughters have seen these particular photos, so I decided to scrap them. That way, they’ll be in our family album.
Here’s what I came up with:
I made tags with some of the papers in the kits, including the acetate paper. (Tip: I added adhesive to the acetate only where I knew it would be hidden by the photo.) I also used the papers to layer different sized circles that I die cut and machine stitched.
I embellished with flowers, some are Pinkfresh Studio ephemera, and there are a couple that I stamped using the Vicki Boutin stamps included in the color kit. Then I finished with a few Pinkfresh Studio enamel dots and puffy gold hearts.
Here’s a closer look at the story:
That’s it for me today! I hope you liked walking down memory lane with me, and I hope I inspired you to get crafty. Have a lovely day!
