Happy Monday! Today my challenge was to use the May color kit on my page. I have seen so many incredible projects using this kit from the DT this month, so I wanted to try and think of a different way to showcase the products.

My original intent was to layer some circles to create distressed “flower” shapes. But I thought it would be interesting to be able to see through the layers, so I stamped on acetate and used the Vicki Boutin paints instead of ink. With my remaining paints, I used my brayer to spread the color on some white cardstock.

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.
I then used the dies in the kit to cut circles from patterned papers, and in an “Ah-ha!” moment, I cut some of the lace paper that came in the main kit. I love the way that grid lace paper cut with the dies!

Finally, I just layered some other embellies and added a few mists.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you enjoyed!
