it’s Lisa back on the blog and today I’m sharing a mini album.

For this mini album I used a lot of what I had left from my april kits.

I started by choosing some of the patterned papers from the main kit and paper kit. I created 5 little evelopes using the We R Memory Keepers envelope board. Then I placed them in a row and  adhered them together, placing every envelope on the opening part of the the one in front of it.

I used the project life cards included in the project life kit and some of the patterned papers to create little cards that would fit in the envelopes.

I printed photos from my vacation in Italy from two years ago. I used a photo on the front and back of every card, adding embellishments from the main kit, embellishment kit and project life kit. There were so many cute things to chose from. The Pick-me-up ephemera pack, the exclusive flower puffy stickers, the Echo Park and Shimelle  enamel dots, the Shimelle tiny letter stickers… I placed everything on the cards and on the back side of the envelopes, the way I liked it.

I really like adding boarders on my layouts and I like adding them to little cards and mini albums like this too. So I drew some doodley boarders on almost all of the cards, with a black, very thin pen.

To close the mini album, I created two paper pearls and added them to a piece of white thread. You can wrap it around the album and tie a knot to keep it closed.
