Hello Hip Kit Friends!! My assignment this week was to incorporate colored cardstock into my layout. Not going to lie, I rarely use colored cardstock, not because I don’t like it, I think it is because there are so many “pretty” bits in our kits that I really just overlook it. So this week I got out all the pretty colored cardstock from the April 2018 Cardstock Kit and put my thinking cap on!
I had all the papers lined up on my desk in rainbow order and then I found the co-ordinating patterned papers from the April 2018 Kits and decided to grab my punches and make a heart out of punched pieces.
I cut a heart to use as a template on my silhouette and then fit all my punched papers into the heart like a puzzle, once I had them positioned I glued each of the pieces down. As I started looking for embellishments I realized there were so many cute little items that would work on the heart. I used almost all of the Shimelle Enamel Dots found in the April 2018 Project Life Kit and a lot of the dots from the Hip Kit Club exclusive puffy stickers!

I finished off the page with a pretty title using the Hip Kit Club exclusive white puffy alpha, my photo and a floral cluster!
