it’s Lisa back on the blog today to share this layout with you.

This week I had to make a layout inspired by this month’s moodboard that Lorilei created for us.

Of course, when you look at this moodboard, what catches your eye first, are the flowers and boho chic inspired colors. I was already looking for all the flowers in my april kits, when I looked at the board again and I saw the little quote from “The wonder years”. I thought it was so cute, and I wanted to hand-cut some letters in different fonts and write a part of this quote.

So that’s what I did. I only wrote the first part of the quote, because the rest wouldn’t have fit of course.

I used three of the patterned papers from the main kit and cut out all the letters and words I needed. Some of the letters or words, I placed on another paper to make them stand out more and to have even more different styles.

The photos I used are from me and two of my best friends, when we had a little trip to Italy. I printed out four square photos, placed them on a piece of patterned paper and used some craft foam in between to make them pop. Then I used the super cute Shimelle photo corners, included in the project life kit and placed one of the aqua ones on each of the photos.

I didn’t really know where to put the quote, so I tried the middle and the sides. I decided to place it on the left side of the page with the photos next to it.

I used some other patterned papers, cut strips and arranged them in a way I liked on both sides of the page.

To decorate and finish the page, I used the layered flowers from Pebbles included in the Main kit, I used some of the enamel dots from Echo Park, included in the Embellishment kit, I splattered some paint that I got, mixing the redish toned Distress Oxide from the Color kit with some white spray from my stash, and fussy cutting some lovely flowers from the Dear Lizzy patterned paper.
