Hi all and welcome to the Hip Kit Club Blog! Today I had the task of incorporating pennants into a PL style layout and I can say I was happy to oblige! Here’s a look at the project I created using the April Kits:

First, my apologies for my poor typing skills! I keep on forgetting to add corrective tape to my Amazon shopping cart, so when I make a mistake typing I just do my best to fix it and move on–I have other things to worry about! LOL. So, as I was stating beforehand, my task was to incorporate a pennant into my layout and I did so by creating a small banner in the corner of a journaling card from the April PL Kit:

This particular layout wasn’t photo heavy, so I took advantage of the extra space and played around with the 3×4 journaling cards. For this first card, I paired the banner with a fun puffy sticker that definitely described my little soccer team. To decorate the other two, I added stitching and some mist droplets. These are certainly tiny details, but they make a big impact.
