Pharaoh Pirates I | Anna Komenda

Happy Friday scrappy friends. It’s Anna here with the page created with April kits. This layout was inspired by the sketch designed by Michelle Whorwood:

My theme for today was also “go monochromatic”. I really like using only few colors at once from time to time. It’s refreshing and helps to look at kits in different way. I decided to keep my layout yellow and black. I had this funny picture of my dog trying to peek out of a window. He made himself a funny pharaoh crown.

I digged in my kits and searched for yellow and black papers and embellishments and i found quite a lot of them. I just love how this layout turned out. It’s so fresh and light. I have a little tip for you – do you know that puffy alpha stickers can be colored with alcohol markers? You can make yourself a matching embellishments in minutes. This is what I did with this white exclusive alphabet. It was white and I needed it to pop from the light background so I painted it black. Here are few more close – ups of my page.
