Hi Hip Kit fans, Michelle Whorwood here with a new layout with the March 2018 Hip Kits.  I was super drawn to the beautiful teals, soft pinks, and neutrals in this kit so I created with these colours on my layout today.

I really wanted to keep my layout, soft beautiful and not to overwhelming.  I have used the heart background cut file designed by Kim Watson (February 2018) and cut it out on vellum from the March 2018 Cardstock Kit to create a soft subtle background.   I printed my photo out black and white and then layered some pops of colour underneath – including two project life cards from the 2018 March Project Life Kit as well as some Flourish ephemera from the March 2018 Embellishment Kit.  Sometimes I just love the simplicity of a limited colour palette and I have used this technique to draw you into my photo today. As well as adding some embellishments in these colour tones I have also added in some detail with doodling and stitched edges to create more texture on my page without adding a lot of colour.
