Friday Sketch

Hello everyone!  Another Friday, another sketch!  Today’s sketch is brought to you by Felicity!  In addition to Audrey and Evelyn sharing today on the blog, Bea, Tanya, and Zinia will be sharing their takes in the Member Forum on Facebook, and Ashley will be sharing on the HKC Facebook page, too!  Be sure to share to the member forum for your chance to win a $10.00 Gift Card to the store!

First up is Audrey and her take on the sketch:

Hi everyone!  I was so inspired by this sketch because I just LOVE circles.   I also loved how the title was wrapped around the large circle, so I knew I wanted to incorporate that as well with the products from the October 2017 Kits.

For my main circle, I actually cut out some tiny, colorful squares from a card in the PL add on kit.  I found a few other cards with those colors and punched circles from them as well as from some of the patterned papers in the October Main Kit.

I wanted to “messy” up the background a bit, so I painted some light circles with some gesso on the gray cardstock from the cardstock add on.  Then I added a bit of color here and there with the Shimmerz paints from the Color Kit Add On.

Finally, I embellished my circles with some die cuts and stickers from the Main Kit and Embellishment Add On. You may also notice a few die cut leave that I cut from some of this month’s cut files, too!

Evelyn here. This is my layout based on the sketch. As you know I like to make something lil bit different from the sketch. So instead of using one big circle photo, I use two of it and paste it randomly in my layout. This layout is about my son who love books so much.

I use pink big alphas as my big tittle of this layout. Use pink alpha for boy layout really cute too.

For my hand writing I write down in the blank space between the photos. Hope you guys love it and have fun. Happy creating!
