Hello Hip Kit Club Fans!

Terhi Koskinen here with you today, sharing what I have created using only the September 2017 Main Kit.

About one month ago I made one of my dreams come true and bought an electric cutting machine as a birthday present for myself. It took me some time to find the right settings, but once I finally had the machine in my control, I started searching cut files. If you are familiar with cut files, you know the internet is filled with beautiful cut files, just like over at Hip Kit Club website (login to see and download).

This particular tea cup cut file is exclusive one from Hip Kit Club, available for all Hip Kit Club Members! It’s designed by  Kim Watson and it is just gorgeous!

First I took a cut of the file without any editing, using the most beautiful floral paper from the September 2017 Main Kit, this is from Pink Paislee ‘Turn the Page’ collection. Then, by using the offset-tool, I cut out a bit bigger tea cup out of light yellow cardstock. Between those two cuts I added thin 3D foam, so there is air between, and it looks so dimensional!

As the tea cup is very busy with all the flowers, I decided to keep everything else small and calm. Just a title, then a butterfly and other die cuts to repeat the golden color from the alphas.

All finished with mists drops and watercolors on the background, softening the line between yellow and white.
