Hello Hip Kit Club friends! I am so excited to be joining this amazing team! As I eagerly await my kit, I thought I’d introduce myself and share my scrap space with you!
My name is Jung (pronounced like jungle, minus the -le) and I live in Texas with my high school sweetheart turned hubbie Barry, and our 3 girls, Lola, Ellie, and Ruby. I first started scrapbooking in high school; I put together an album filled with pictures of Barry & I, movie stubs, little notes, stickers, stickers, and more stickers! LOL! My style has changed a lot since then, but my love of scrapbooking has only grown! My favorite products are white cardstock, 6×6 paper pads, enamel dots, Heidi Swapp gold color shine, and alpha stickers…so it looks like I’m in the right place!
Here is a little peek into my scrap space. I share this small room with my girls; they have a small desk where they can get crafty too. Our upright piano is also in this room. (I can craft while they practice, or I can send them in there to practice by themselves and have them close the door! Haha!)
I keep a comfy dog bed under my desk, because my little dorkie (dachshund & yorkie mix) Emma likes to hang out with me while I scrap. She keeps my toes toastie in the winter!
My desk is from Ikea. The 2 white floating shelves are also from Ikea; I like them because they’re not too deep, and they’re perfect for storing/displaying mists and jars of small embellishments. I got the white organizer with the tiny clear drawers at Home Depot many years ago; It’s meant for nails and screws, but I keep my ink blending tools, sequins, black ink pads, erasers, paper clips, and other small tools in them. The 3 tiered black baskets hold my different adhesives. I also have an Ikea container filled with my beloved 6×6 paper pads sitting on the left side of my desk. To the right of my desk, I have some of my card making supplies, like embossing powders, acrylic blocks, distress inks, and my heat gun in plastic drawers.
Immediately to the left of my desk, I have an Ikea bookcase, where I house my stamps, copic markers, and ink pads. I also have another small desk where I keep my sewing machine. My die cutting machine and dies are sitting on a wooden folding tray table (i.e. tv dinner stand). On the floor beneath the tray table, I have my friskers and guillotine paper trimmers, a basket full of punches, and a trashcan.
To the right of my desk is my favorite blue Ikea cart. In the top section, I have my thickers, and other small stickers and embellishments. In the middle section, I have photos and my scrapbooking stamps. In the bottom section, I have some date stamps, and various other tools. To house my albums, I have another Ikea shelf.
I hope you liked having a peek into my scrap space! I will say, it took me a few days to clean this room for pictures, ha! It is normally not this clean, but that’s just how I craft! I’d like my scrap room to be a bit more organized, but I have learned that IF I DON’T SEE IT, I WON’T USE IT, so this works for now.
I can’t wait to share my Hip Kit projects with you soon. Have an awesome day!
I love your scraproom!! And your dog is sooooo cute ♥
