Hi Everyone! I’m back, with two projects using the AUGUST 2017 kits! I am so excited to be using these brand new kits that just arrived on my door step Monday of this week.

My first project is a TN spread. I’m still new to the traveler’s notebook world, but I have to say that I am totally loving it so far! I created this TN insert using one of the Maggie Holmes papers from the Paper Kit (and Main Kit). I added cardstock in the middle and sewed along the spine. I wanted an insert specifically for our recent vacation and that is why I created a brand new one!

I created a title page called “YAY Vacay” using mostly Maggie Holmes “Carousel” embellishments. I also added some of the HKC Exclusive alphas from the Main Kit.

For the next page, I cut a beautiful cream (and black) floral paper down to size. Added this to the left side of my page as an anchor for my title which included lots more of the Maggie Holmes “Carousel” collection. For the right side, I layered my photo with more of the “Carousel” paper, and added some ephemera from that same collection.

So, I obviously could not get enough of the Carousel collection because I basically used half of the 12×12 sicker sheet that was included in our Project Life Kit on my Memory Planner spread.

I added my photos, a few pieces of ephemera,some sticky note embellishments, and then that was it! I loved the simplicity this week!
