Clever journaling with Anna Komenda

Hello HKC fans. It’s Anna here with another page created with July kits. I can’t stop making more and more colorful pages with all those goodies. I want to scrap my travel and summer pictures to preserve all those happy moments. My theme for this week was a clever journaling. All of you who know my style probably noticed that I do not add journaling on my layouts. I sometimes write few words on the back of the page but I never do that on pages. I don’t like when someone flipping through my layouts can read my thoughts. That’s why I went very clever with my journaling and I hid it 😉

I had this fun picture of me and my girls in Pisa with the Leaning Tower in the back. I printed it big because I wanted to highlight the leaning part with a leaning title. I chose fun Amy Tangerine’s paper from “On a whim collection” as my background. I added a leaning title using exclusive puffy stickers from Main Kit.

I embellished area around me and my girls using all the fun exclusives from this month’s kits. My favourite are paited wood veneers. The are so lovely. I also added acrylic word “explore” from Bella Blvd. You can find it Embellishment Kit.

Amy Tangerine’s “On a whim” ephemera pack is a perfect match with all the exclusives. I used some pineapple and pink foiled word. I also fussy cut the half of the pineapple from an exclusive card from Project Life Kit. Do you see that yellow tag peeking from the pattern paper?

It’s my journaling written on the back of the tag. I used Amy Tangerine’s chipboard resist tag from Color Kit. I sprayed it with yellow Shimmerz mist that was included into the kit. Thanks to that I still ave my journaling and I am sure no one will read it it I will not allow for it. I simply created a little pocket before I added my patterned paper.

That’s all for today. I hope my clever journaling idea inspires you to create your own hidded journaling spots. Thank you for stopping by and see you in a week on Hip Kit Club FB site.

XO Anna
