Hello HKC fans. It’s a first day of summer break in Poland and we all ready to jump into the summer mood. I am still waiting for my June kits to arrive but it’s not a problem if you have gorgeous May kits in the house 🙂 I used one of my “mojo, where are you” tricks and I focused on one color mostly. I chose all blue elements from the kits and I combined them into one layout. Why blue? Because I had those two cute pictures from my daughter’s birthday party and she is holding a blue balloon. I just matched my embellishments to the photos.
I chose one of the Dear Lizzy papers with daises as my background. You can find it in Main kit. I added a smaller square using one of the “Chasing deams” by Maggie Holmes papers. I cut a flower wreath with Silhouette Cameo using a May cut file designed by Nicole Nowosad. This was a base of my composition.

All I had to do later was to add pictures and layer down embellishments. I chose few blue flowers from exclusive ephemera pack from Main kit along with some puffy stickers from Embellishment Kit. I glued them down and added some smaller pieces.
I added a bit of gold to make a page more festive. Those cute puffy stickers from Dear  Lizzy “Lovely day” collection are like a cherry on the top.
I created a tittle using Thickers from Shimelle’s “Little by little” collection. They consist of two sheets of stickers – one is white and the second one is black. Mint buttons and enamel dots complement the page perfectly.
I juts love how this page turned out. I love working with multiply colors but narrowing down a color scheme can be a perfect inspiration when the mojo is down.
