Hello Hip Kit fans. I want to share with you today my second project created with May kits. It’s a MIXED MEDIA WEEK for HKC team and this is my interpretation. My most favorite media type are watercolors. I was so happy to see them in May Color Kit. Prima “Tropicals” set is just perfect to start You adventure with watercoloring. They are highly pigmented, rich in colors with a variety of sets to pick from. Watercolor perfection.
In this project I combined my two favorities: rainbow colors and watercolors and I created a fun, grid design.
I used white cardstock sheet from Cardstock Kit. I didn’t apply any gesso because I wasn’t going to add a lot of water. This paper works with watercolors really well. The great benefit of painting with watercolors is that You can mix the colors to get a perfect shade. Having only three primary colors can give You so many shades and combinations.
My grid has 9 squares painted with watercolors. I left some of them visible but i also covered some of them with paper scraps from Main Kit. I searched for embellishments in matching colors and placed them over the paper scraps. I am in love with this exclusive alpha stickers from the Main Kit. They couldn’t be any cuter.
I like flowers in exclusive ephemeras and I wanted to use them on this page. i also added some fussy cut flowers from one of the Shimelle’s “Little by little” papers. I also added few exclusive puffy stickers from Embellishment Kit along with few cute buttons from”Chasing dreams” collection.
I finished my page by adding enamel dots and some splatters. I love how this page turned out and I really, really love creating all sorts of rainbows on my pages.
Thank You for stopping by and see You next week on Facebook.
XO Anna
