Week 27 and “Those Pigtails.”

Hey y’all! Ashley here, back with a PL spread using the Hip Kit Club February 2017 Kits.

I started with several of the cards from the Project Life Kit along with a few cut-to-size patterned papers from the Paper Kit. For my title card, I wanted to use the Crate Paper “weekend” pattern and highlight the word “week” using the “Oh Say Can You Sea” mist from a previous Color Kit.

I used the beautiful “Oh My Heart” for my title and then began my embellishing. I used lots of elements from the “Chasing Dreams” collection, along with puffy and card stock stickers from the “Oh My Heart” collection.

I hope y’all love this spread! I have to be honest…I love the back side better than the front.

For my scrapbook LO, I used yellow background from our cardstock kit and began to layer underneath my photos, using a few of the Crate Paper patterned papers. I added more “peeking” layers in between the papers by using some of the Crate Paper “Chasing Dreams”ephemera that came in our Main Kit. Because that wasn’t enough Crate Paper, I added some of the stickers from our kit along with the those beautiful gold Thickers from the Main Kit.

I love the way this layout turned out! I hardly ever use a colored background and I’ve gained a little more confidence after using the yellow card stock! 🙂
