Hi everyone! I’m so excited to bring you my first post here at the Hip Kit Club! I’m Jessica Cole, a pocket page scrapbooker living in south Florida. I live with my husband and two little dogs. Besides crafting, I love the outdoors, photography, and a good glass of red wine.

To kick things off this month, I thought I would share a peek into my scrapbooking space and show you where the magic happens.

I’m extremely lucky to have an entire room dedicated to my arts and crafts. This is what you see when you first walk in, so welcome!

You’ll notice my room is very uncluttered and full of white space. Even though this area holds a lot of stuff, it was important to me to keep it well-organized and much of the “stuff” out of the main view. To me, it’s like having a blank canvas when I walk in and I’m not distracted by anything.

I originally had my albums organized by date but after accumulating a few different colors and patterns, I decided they looked better balanced on my shelf if they were scattered.

What would a craft space be without a cart? I’m definitely no exception. The top part is the most organized and hold my pocket cards organized by color, because that’s how my brain works when I put together my layouts. I DIY’d these little dividers using my Silhouette and they’re perfect and keeping my cards separated.

The other two shelves hold my inks, roller stamps, and unopened product that is waiting to be used.

Finally, I have a little carousel that sits on my desk and holds my essentials. Pens, glue, hole punches, scissors…anything that can be used on every layout goes in here. It’s super convenient to have these supplies at arms reach because losing glue or a pair of scissors mid-project can be a show stopper.

Here is where I sit and create my layouts. I keep embellishments and stickers in those drawers to the right, my papers hidden in a cubby on the side of my desk, my stamps in a basket at arms reach.
