All about the title!

Hey y’all!

I’m back with two projects featuring the September 2016 Kits! I am so excited to share these super, yet fun projects with you all.

For my layout, I used a white background from our Cardstock Add-On Kit. I a piece of patterned paper with repeated frame shapes and simply cut them apart to add a fun little touch behind my photo. I stitched these down and began embellishing after the placement of my photo.

Most of my embellishments either came from the Main Kit and the Embellishment Kit and most are from the “Gather” collection by Maggie Holmes.

I wanted my title to be one of the main focuses of this layout. I used a few of the Maggie Holmes “Gather” chipboard stickers, as well as the Pinkfresh Studio “Indigo Hills” alphas for a little but of a mix-up. I just love the way this title turned out—one of my very favorite things is to use big words that are already created and add to them.

For my second project, I went with a 9×12 Project Life spread. I used cards from the Project Life Kit and simply adhered my photos right one top. For my “title” card, I used the number “8” from the “Gather” chipboard sticker sheet as well as lots of pieces of Simple Stories ephemera pieces for smaller elements. I used two of the beautiful “Indigo Hills” Chipboard hearts (from the PL Kit) as well as some of the “Gather” ephemera pieces that came in our Main Kit.
