Hi everyone, Amy here! This week I’m sharing some pages I created using the gorgeous September kits. The papers this month really stole the show for me, with lots of soft floral and shabby patterns from Maggie Homes’ Gather collection. Honestly, these pages about  the work we’re doing in the garden simply fell together! Don’t you just love it when that happens?

I started, as per usual, by cutting the papers to 3×4 size and arranging them with the photos so that the pages were balanced. I chose papers with lots of orange, pink and gold as I’m really starting to feel those autumn vibes! I cut the Polaroid images out of the Gather ‘Moments’ paper and used them as embellishments on two of my cards. Next I selected some of the smaller pieces from the Simple Stories Posh Bits and Bobs to use – the camera die cut is my favourite!

Using phrases from the Simple Stories Posh Bits and Pieces, the Maggie Holmes Gather Mixed Embellishments and Gather Gold Phases stickers, I started to create small clusters of embellishments. I finished of the filler cards with Pinkfresh Studio Indigo Hills Chipboard Hearts and Simple Stories Posh Enamel Dots.

I used the Simple Stories Posh Totally Chic Washi Tape from the Embellishment kit on the top and bottom of a white card which I then typed my journalling onto. I usually choose to journal on white cards as I love the clean look this creates.
