Hey Y’all!! I’m back with another 12×12 layout and Project Life spread featuring the amazing September 2016 Kits with you all!

I cannot even begin to explain my love for these kits. From the colors, to the embellishments, to the fact that it’s totally perfect for Fall projects!

For my layout, I began with a white background (surprise surprise) and then I simply followed Ashley Horton’s Sketch for this month. Here’s a look at the sketch…

I placed my photo in the top left-hand corner and matted a few “Gather” papers underneath it. Next, I got the idea to add strips of paper going diagonally from the top left to bottom right—in the sketch, you’ll notice that the embellishments flow down that way and the title is placed at the bottom.

I used papers from the Gather collection that came in our Main Kit and Paper Kit, and also used ephemera from the Carpe Diem “Posh” Collection by Simple Stories–these came in our Project Life Kit.

Lastly, I used some elements from the Embellishment Kit such as the tassels and chipboard stickers. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

For my Project Life spread, I simply started with the HKC Exclusive cards that came in our Project Life Kit. Because I want to hoard those cards, I decided to cut up some papers for my 4×6 cards and I used two patterned papers from the “Gather” collection.

Also from the Project Life Kit, I used the Indigo hills Chipboard Hearts as well as a few pieces of Ephemera from the Carpe Diem “Posh” Simple Stories Collection. I was so excited to use the large “8” wood veneer for my title! It’s perfect.
