Hello. It’s Anna here with my second project created with August kits.
This time I was inspired by one of the Crate Paper papers – the one with rainbow stripes from Main Kit. I thought it would be really fun to recreate the rainbow using Prima Oil Pastels from the Color Kit.
I used white cardstock from Cardstock Kit and covered it with gesso. I applied pastels and washed them with a lot of water. When everything was dry I added the strip of rainbow paper and the base was ready.

I chose two fun pictures of me and my daughter. They are black and white and I didn’t have to worry about adding too many colors to my page. I dived into the embellishments and chose word “today” from Dear Lizzy “Saturday” collection. I also added gorgeous puffy stickers from Crate Psper “Cute girl” collection. You can find them in Embellishment Kit.
I also love the wooden elements from “Take me away” collection from Pink Paislee. You can find them in Project Life Kit. I finished my page using small transparent stickers from Amy Tangerine “Oh happy day” collection.
