Hi Everyone! It’s Flóra here with a new layout and a Pocket Letters.
First about the 12″ layout. For this I used the July Hip Kit sketch designed by Ashley Horton. It’s just so stunning, isn’t it? I wanted to make a fun, colorful summer layout. Probably it could be more masculine, but I was not bothered with the diversity of the page.
First I cut out the arrows with Silhouette Cameo and then backed them with the Pink Paislee – Fancy Free – Paper 06 from the June Main Kit.
For embellishing I used a lot of HKC Exclusive Everyday Day Ephemeras – designed by Kim Watson. They are perfectly fit to the colors of the pattern paper. I love that the package includes titles, word labels and floral shapes as well. My other favorite from Jun Kits are the Simple Stories – Carpe Diem – Clear Stickers from the Project Life add-ons. As my photo had some blank space I adhered there few of the stickers randomly.
In the end I complete my layout with colorful Simple Stories – Sunshine & Happiness – Enamel Dots. I really like the result. And I think HKC June Kits are my favorite so far, they are excellently selected.
In the process video you can check how I put together the layout.
My second project for today is not a Project Life even if this has also pockets. I have just sent out a Pocket Letters to my scrap friend, thought I would show you. For this I used the leftovers from the May Kits.
I used bits and pieces from all the kits like HKC Exclusive papers, HKC Exclusive – Meadowbrook – Ephemeras, Jillibean Soup – Wood Veneers, Illustrated Faith – She Blooms – Chipboards and Enamel Hearts. In the back of the pockets little gifts are hidden and a letter as well.
I also created some kind of hanging tag as a decoration just to spice up the project. Have you ever made a Pocket Letters? It’s so fun to create it and of course get it. You definitely have to try. 😉
That’s it for today! Thanks for stopping by!
