I ended up with a citrus-y color palette pulling out papers & embellishments that were navy, aqua, yellow & lime. The kit exclusives were perfect for this page about my husband. The papers being subtle in color & design really lent themselves to layering which was exactly what I wanted.

Using a brayer, the cloud stencil & Shimmerz Vibez Jeni B Bleu from the Hip Kit Club May 2016 Color Kit, I created a water color vibe on the background paper. For a process vid on exactly how I did it, see the Hip Kit Club Instagram account 🙂

A title cut from the cut-a-part sheet was the perfect topper for my x4 photo collage. Fun ephemera placed along the edge of the photos  creates a fabulous border full of color & interest. Isn’t the Jillibean Soup wood veneer adorable?!

The Bella & Jillibean alphas in their gorgeous colors make for an eye catching title. Have you tried trimming a journal card into strips? It is a great way to improvise journaling spots if you need them.

I totally love the final results. The color, design & photos from the May 2016 Hip Kits make my heart so happy!!
