Hi Everyone! I hope you are doing well. For today post I made a few DIY embellishments. I will be honest and admit I have never done anything like this before but I see a lot of you like it so I gave it a go.

I cut out several squares with square die set and my Sizzix. For this I used different patterned papers from the May Main Kit. Then I look through all my Sizzix dies and search some shapes what can be useful for this layout. I found butterfly, camera, arrow and heart in the right size so I cut out few pieces of each and then I started to play. I combined them with HKC exclusive ephemera bits from the May Main Kit as well.

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.
I tried to create few layers on every small project and add dimensions with foam tape. In the and I adhered tiny Echo Park – Summer Party – Enamel Dots and Jillibean Soup – Navy Blueberry Self Adhesive Sequins. I finished my layout with journaling and adding some yellow splotch created with Shimmerz – Coloringz Vibriant Mist – No Yolking from the April Color Kit.

Anyway this layout is about my niece and her first lost deciduous tooth. I hope you like my first DIY embellishments and the layout I created with them.

I also have a PL spread for you. I love the May Project Life Kit because of the colorful cards and perfect embellishments like Jillibean Soup – Life Wordfetti – Wood Veneer and Faith Illustrated – She Blooms Enamel Hearts. They are small and cute, the best way to jazz up your pockets with them.

See you soon! Thanks for stopping by!
