Planner and Project Life Pages | Anita Patel

Hi everyone! Anita here today. Hope your week is off to a good start!

I’m thrilled to be on the Hip Kit Club Design Team and excited to share my first blog post with all of you. The April 2016 kits are packed full of goodies and I’ve been having a great time creating with them. Today I’m sharing two projects: a Planner spread and a Project Life spread.

I love planners and have several different styles that I use for a variety of projects. For the past several months, I’ve been participating in the Listers Gotta List challenge and use Project Life cards along with the planner you see here to house all of my lists. I love this format and it’s a fun way to get creative and use lots of the pretty cards many of us collect. I was really excited to use the cards in this month’s Project Life kit because the bright, happy colors and designs seemed like the perfect way to start my lists for April. In addition to the exclusive cards, I used pieces from the exclusive cut-apart sheet and a few of the Amy Tangerine rub-ons. I usually like to keep these spreads pretty simple and let the beautiful cards be the main focus of the page. Here’s a look at the full spread:

Next up I have a Project Life spread. My husband and I recently went to Atlanta to visit our nephew and while we were there we spent one day exploring Stone Mountain, Georgia. The scenery was beautiful and I took lots of pictures throughout the day so I decided to dedicate a full spread to this little adventure.

I mixed the exclusive Hip Kit Club Project Life cards with patterned papers, die cuts, stickers and wood veneer to create a spread that coordinated with my photos. There are so many gems to be found in the April 2016 kits and I pulled out my favorite bits and pieces to complete these pages.

I’m happy to have these memories documented and know I will love looking back at these pages in the future. Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my projects and hope you have a great week!
