Hello everyone and Happy Easter ! Christin here today blogging from my phone as I am celebrating Easter in a very Norwegian way- up in a cottage in the mountains in the sun. Here we go skiing- cross country. I also brought my March Kits to play with. Unfortunately I forgot my usb cable to my big camera so all I can offer is Iphonephotos.
In the March2016 Color you find three lovely Shimmerz Hues in blue, green and yellow and I used plenty of them first on my background.

I used a stencil to get the first heringbone stripes, the rest I added freehand and then I smudged the middle and mixed it to get a bigger area with color.
I also cut out a piece of one of the digital files this month and painted them too with the Shimmerz paint and added some Basic Grey die cuts from the Embellishment kits underneath.
I topped the layout with the green thickers from the main kit and lots of cute Pinkfresh studio and Elle’s studio die cuts and wood veneers from the main kit + embellishment kit.
When I get back from the mountains I can’t wait to see all the lovely projects in the Hip Kit Clubs FB page.
