Hey everyone, Raquel here today to share my latest layout using the gorgeous January kits. Seeing as though February is the month of love I thought it was super fitting to document some more of my wedding photos. These kits were just perfect for that.

I decided to focus on the stunning My Story range by My Mind’s Eye for this page. The colourings in the papers and embellishments were perfect for my photos and I knew that I just had to use that beautiful foiled arrow paper!

For the background, I enlarged one of the exclusive cut file by Nicole. I stretched it to a 10×10″ piece. It was fun to then choose my favourite papers to back the cut file. I positioned the arrow paper in a way that the arrow were all pointing towards us and I just love how that turned out!

The My Mind’s Eye stickers from the kits were fun to layer and create into a cluster. To do this I simply removed the adhesive by applying some talcum powder. This made it easier to layer them up and move them around.

I fussy cut the butterflies from one of the 3×4″ cards in the Project Life kit. To adhere them I bent up the edges and popped adhesive only through the middle of it so that it looked like it was fluttering off the page.

There was also a butterfly in the sticker pack and button pack so I added these to the left of the photo.

Because there is so much happening on this page I wanted to keep the title simple. I did this by applying it directly to the bottom of the photo. Those gold alphas are just beautiful!

I love how much dimension pages like this provide. I adhered not only the whole background piece, but also the photo layer with foam. The embellishments are very dimensional too.
I hope this has inspired you to create using your January kits! I will be sharing a process video for this layout on my YouTube channel soon!
