Christin here today. I can’t believe it’s only 4 days until Christmas (we celebrate on the 24th) and my Christmas present came early -yesterday my December kit arrived and guess what – I had to open it right away and here is my first layout with the December 2015 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits.  I am not completely done with the November 2015 Kits,  and to show how much I loved that kit I added a heart.

As you can see I have used both the weekly sketch created by Ashley Horton (you can find it in the Facebook forum) and a heart cutfile by Nicole Nowosad that you can find on the Hip Kit Club Website.

With this layout I had fun with multiple layers, my secret to creating a little air when adding lots of layers is to always bend the corners of all the papers.   I also always staple my layers behind the photo so I can easily bend the papers some more and add small pieces here and there to get even more layers. If you are unhappy you can easily remove the staples and start over.

I hope you are all ready for Chrismas. Here I am almost done with both bying and wrapping the presents, waiting for a few late arrivals.   Yesterday the kids decorated the tree.  My husband and daughter got a huge tree this year…
