Wendy here today to share some inspiration with the November kits and the December Daily kit. Don’t they just put you in a rejoicing mood?
In my layouts today, I began with the mood board where I was caught by the warm wood piece, the tree picture, and the collage of square pieces, and of course pops of pink/red!
I have really been drawn to the PinkFresh Studio papers, it has been a fun challenge to work with the papers. In all of my layouts I’ve created with this kit I’ve tried to find papers that I can nestle my pictures into and allow the background to embrace my photo.
On this page I chose to mat it on the beautiful teal piece designed by DT member Kim Watson to give a calm feel to it with a few pops fo red for impact.
I used the wreath cutfile to create the wooden leaves that I used to add some warmth to the page with.
I am loving the cute little animals that were apart of the die-cut pack from PinkFresh Studio!
I also created another page, that had nothing to do with Christmas but instead celebrated the 16 years my husband and I have been married and our very first night away without kids!
I used the same wreath cutfile as my other layout, but this time I cut it out of vellum for a light airy feel that didn’t detract from my picture. I chose bold red papers and embellishments to add pop to my page and unite the page with all the different elements I used.
I hid the do not open circle under my penguin as the sentiment didn’t work for my page, but the color and shape was perfect for my grouping, a little sneaky, huh?
Thanks so much for joining me, I will see you next week with some more Christmas fun!
