Hi! Irit here with my first layout on the blog using the August kits! For today’s layout I decided to play with the color kit. The stencils Kim Watson designed are just fabulous and I used two of them here. The color kit also has some Dylusions paint in it, and I used the pink one here.
The paint is incredibly bright and a little goes a very very long way. I wanted a faded look, so I only added paint to my blending tool at the beginning, and then worked with what was on the blending tool until it ran out. After the paint was dry I used the cloud stencil with Dylusions lemon zest mist from a previous kit. Less talking, more showing!

Once the background was done I added lots of embellishments in coordinating colors from the main kit and the embellishment kit. The Dear Lizzy chipboard pieces are just perfect for my birthday theme!
