Hi! Irit here with my last layout using the July kits on the blog. I really wanted to use the big Crate Paper Poolside jars that came in the embellishment kit, but I admit I found it challenging since they were just so big! I came our with a design concept that worked well with those big elements. Here’s my finished layout-
I used two photos that I printed at 4*4. This vertical design with the photos and all the other layers and embellishments on the left side let me use something so big on the right. It helped that the jars were white and light woodgrain to keep the layout looking bright and not too heavy. I LOVE the October Afternoon alphas we got in the main kit, the color is just perfect for pretty much every layout.
I’m documenting this vacation using the ABC as a basis for my titles, and this was H’. I thought about hot, hat, heat (see a pattern??), but had nothing too clever in mind, so in comes Pinterest. I searched for summer and sea quotes and found this one that says Happiness Comes in Salty Water. I thought it was lovely and went searching for a couple of photos to match. The yellow and white color scheme really allows the blue water and sky pop. Finishing touches were some bits and pieces from the June & July PL kits.
Here’s the process video-
