It’s the weekend!! I am back today to share a couple quick cards I made using the July kits.
I am always in need of birthday cards around my house, so here are a couple that I created to have on hand.
I started with a simple grid for my card front and then added a Simple Stories frame with some vellum behind it. I added my title with some alphas from the kits and created some fringe with the Simple Stories paper tape in the kit.
Next, I crated a girly card, that woudl be good for a couple different occasions – birthday or otherwise. I started with some of the pretty floral paper from October Afternoon and then added some vellum over the bottom and top portions of the card.
I added my sentiment to the non-vellumed area on the card front and then stamped a title with some mini alphas from my stash. I love the October Afternoon puffy stickers – so cute on cards
Lastly, I wanted to do something quick and easy with the Simple Stories Paper Tape in the kit. I decided to trim a little from various strips from the package and add them to simple white cardstock to create some candles.
From there, I simply stamped with mini alphas a sentiment across the top of the card and add enamel stars for flames! Cute and easy.
Now, my birthday card stash is growing again. Gotta prep up for all those fall birthdays in my family! Enjoy the rest of your weekend 🙂
