Project Life Weeks 27 & 28 | Adrienne Alvis

Good morning Hip Kit fans!  I’m here today with a Project Life spread I created using the July 2015 Hip Kits.

1week27&28

I documented Weeks 27 & 28 of 2015 on this spread and used many of the exclusive Project Life cards from the July 2015 Project Life Kit designed by our very own talented designer, Kim Watson.

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

1week27

I mixed in a few of the Simple Stories Summer Vibe Journaling Cards that are available in the July 2015 Paper Kit on my spread. The cards coordinated so well with the exclusive PL cards and other elements that are included in the July 2015 Project Life Kit.

When I work on my Project Life spreads I like to add embellishments last so I can further color coordinate my pages and add any extra elements that I need to so I can balance out my design.

3week27

For example, I used some of the polka dotted washi tape strips from Simple Stories to fill in some of the white space on some of the journaling cards and added several enamel dots and shapes to some of the other filler cards.

Week 28

1week28

I used my vintage typewriter to type directly onto the adorable speech bubble on the card below.

I like to use the same letter stickers on my spreads to help coordinate my pages as well. The October Afternoon letter stickers were the perfect size for my titles.

Be sure and check out the new August Kits that are now available.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!
