Hello everyone! It’s Terhi here, with a huge gold inspiration. Some might think the trend of using gold is out, but I think it’s timeless. If the photograph lets, gold is the best color to bring the cherished memories onto your layout.
I used our gorgeous June Kits, to be exact June Main Kit, June Embellishment Kit, June Project Life Kit, June Cardstock Kit, and June Color Kit.
In the photograph is my younger daughter. Her face could be next to words “gold” or “sun” in a dictionary, but maybe all mothers thinks the same. Anyway, I picked all golden pieces from June Main Kit and created a background using yellow ink from June Color Kit to make the gold really pop up.

This second layout includes almost all die cuts from Fancy Pants Designs – Summer Fun – Insta Pack Die Cuts we have in our June Project Life Kit. I usually don’t find craft color very attractive, but combining it to yellow and gold did almost magical effect. The craft color gives nice contrast, but doesn’t loose the light feeling as black scraps would have done.
This layout has all the golden pieces which didn’t end to the first layout, and I love the way it turned out. Note the embossed camera stamps on the background. Tiny, but important effect which was done with the clear embossing powder from the June Color Kit.
