Happy 1st day of June! Michelle here with you today to share my latest layout using both the May Main and Embellishment kits.
As I was brainstorming ideas for this layout, I realized I hadn’t used the awesome circle paper from Pink Paislee yet, so I pulled it out with the idea that I would base the rest of my paper choices and embellishments off of this piece of patterned paper.
You can see here that I used a few of the circular diecuts (also from Pink Paislee) to continue the circles off of the patterned paper onto the background.

Since the circle pattern was pretty busy I used some “quiet” neutral papers to layer underneath as well as added only a few embellishments. By doing these two things, I was able to keep the bolder pattern from overwhelming the overall design.
