Good morning and welcome to the weekend on the blog! I have one last April Hip Kit project to share before I start cracking into my May kits!

I am a huge fan of the color in the April kits and wanted to use a lot of the scraps I had lying around for my page. I really don’t like wasting a bit of pretty paper, so I backed those papers in the kit onto a diecut floral background I designed.

Here is how it turned out:

I love the variation of colors on the flowers – and kept the rest of the page pretty simple. I cut out one of the diecut frames from the Amy Tangerine diecuts and added some paper to the back, replacing the previous phrase with a chipboard word from the Crate Paper chipboard sheet.

I am all about waste not, want not, so this helped me use up a lot of those pretty little bits of paper I have been secretly hoarding !

Ok, that’s it for me! Now, I am off to crack open my May kits ! It’s a long weekend here in Canada… so off to enjoy some family time too!  See you next Saturday 🙂
