Happy Weekend! It’s Nicole and I am back to kick off this weekend with a creative jump by sharing a page I made with the February Hip Kit!
I love the Webster’s Pages woodgrain and polka dot papers and wanted to mix the two together on this page. I hand cut out the wonky circles from the paper and placed them along some of the rings on the page, adding stitching once I was done.
Once the circles were in place, I used the 6×6 paper pad to handcut my title with various papers for the page. I popped those in place with some foam adhesive and then added my photo – taken this winter at CHA at Huntington Beach ! (such a pretty place, I could just sit on that sand forever). I am really loving hand cut titles lately, especially when you want a larger title and don’t want to fuss with a diecut machine.
I love how the page came together – honestly, I think it still needs something across the bottom, but everything I tried didn’t work for me, so I left it! Sometimes that is just OKAY! Gotta let it go and move on, right!?
Make sure to come back later today for more weekend inspiration from Kim Watson! đŸ™‚ You are sure to be inspired to get creative!
Love this layout, and the title is perfection!
