Masculine Love Cards | Lea Lawson

Hey there, Hip Kit friends!  Lea here tonight with a couple more cards using the February kits!  These kits have some beautiful feminine colors in them, but when you look a little closer…there are also some great masculine colors too!

So today I focused on the colors more suitable for men, and have created some love themed cards for that special guy in your life!  Check them out!

I’ve used both the February Main Kit & the Embellishment add-on to create these cards today!!  I’ve just pulled some lime green & navy cardstock from my stash to match with the colors in the kit goodies!!

For this first card, I used a bunch of the hello & hey there themed items from the kit, and layered them all together to create the first part of my sentiment.  Then I added some of the glitter Heidi Swapp alphas to the bottom of the chipboard frame to finish the sentiment, and make it more love themed!

For the second card, I tucked a piece of vellum behind the top paper layer just to give it a little extra dimension.  Then I layered chipboard, flair & a banner sticker to the middle of the card to create my custom sentiment.

I love all the added dimension that layering the chipboard gives these cards!!  And while they are non-traditional in color, these would be great to give to your favorite guy on Valentine’s Day!!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards today, and I look forward to seeing what you create with the February 2015 kits!
