Hey there, everyone! Missy here with my very first blog post as a Hip Kit Design Team member! I’m SO excited to be here! The 2015 February Kits are truly gorgeous! As soon as I saw the papers, I knew I wanted to use this beautiful paper from Webster’s Pages. I paired it with a paper from We R Memory Keepers and one from American Crafts. They are all in the Main Kit and Patterned Paper Add-On. I like to get a little messy on my pages, so I used the Bubblegum Pink Dylusions Ink Spray and the Shell Pink Acrylic Paint Dabber from the Color Add-On to create the pink smudges behind my photo cluster. I added in a bit of watercolor and gelatos from my stash to finish it off. The paper layers behind my photo are from the 6×6 paper pad included in the Embellishment Add-On.
Here you can see the layering up close. I love popping my photos up to give some depth and also so I can tuck embellishments underneath it. I added one of the flair buttons, a few of the MME die cuts here and added some of the wood veneer and chipboard elements.

That chipboard frame is in the Embellishment Add-On. I was able to machine stitch through it at the bottom…I love adding those little touches! I hand cut this Hello cloud from one of the MME die cuts.
I added even more layering here at the bottom…a few wood veneer pieces and a puffy sticker from Evalicious. I think layering makes such a bold statement!
