Hello!  It’s Kali here with you today sharing two projects that I created with our July 2014 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits.  For my layout, I decided to work on white cardstock matted onto the “b-side” of the  Basic Grey Carrot Paper.  The red border gives my page a pop of color.  My photo is surrounded by two squares from the October Afternoon cut apart sheet.  (I love this paper!)  Next, I began layering my embellishments around the focal point of my layout.  I added a bit of sewing and some Heidi Swapp Color Shine mist splatters to finish it off.  I hope you like it!

My second project for this week is a feminine card  that was also created using our July Hip Kits.  One of my favorite things in this month’s kit are the Crate Paper Open Road chipboard frames.  So, I decided to used one of them on my card. This frame creates the perfect place for me  to add the sentiment to my card as well as to cluster my embellishments.
