Thanks for joining me for Hip Kit Monday! Today I have created a fun and simple layout documenting two of my younger brothers using the goodies included in our July 2014 Hip Kits. It is crazy how fast our younger family members grow up! Documenting theses old photos was definitely a wake up call for me on how much they really have grown. Before I even choose my photos I knew I wanted to create a custom silhouette cut file that would allow the watercolored background paper to show. First, I painted the Teresa Collins woodgrain patterned paper with bright watercolors. Then I cut my arrow pattern out of white cardstock using my Silhouette. I layered the die cut cardstock over the watercolored paper. I think that this pattern really draws your eye to the center of the layout. Next, I added the photos of my younger brothers with the fun Polaroid frames to help their photos really stand out. To finish my page I added some of the chipboard pieces from October Afternoon and some from Teresa Collins as well as a few enamel dots. I hope you all enjoyed todays layout!!!
