Happy Wednesday!Greetings from the LAX airport! I am waiting to board my flight home. I am happy to report that my sister Jen & baby Scarlett are doing great. Most importantly, Scarlett is completely healthy… which is a true blessing. I feel so fortunate to have been able to be here when she came into the world. I loved sharing this with my sister. This has been such a special time for all of us.
As I say goodbye to baby Scarlett, Lola, Jen and Paolo and my mom, I am so excited to go home to my husband and my own daughters! I have been gone for 2 weeks… I have missed them so much and they have missed me too. Two weeks is a very long time to be away from those that you love. In just a few hours I will slip right back into my life, and I can’t wait.
With my time and attention going to my sister and her family over the past few weeks… I haven’t had much time to work. I had forgotten how much work a 4 year old is. By the time she went to bed at 10pm (yikes!) I was too exhausted to put enough words together to write even one sentence. haha… I am sure that you have missed me around here too – I know that my updates have been minimal at best. I am excited to get things back on track… to get things rolling, I thought I would quickly post a few projects before boarding my flight back to Seattle.
These two layouts were created by our talented guest designer, Melissa Stinson using our July 2013 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits. Not only is Melissa an avid traditional scrapbooker, she is a committed Project Life scrapbooker as well. Today I am sharing one traditional layout and a double page PL layout. Both of these projects show how versatile our Hip Kits are, and how easily they can be used on all kinds of projects. Enjoy! |
