Hi Everyone! Tonight, I want to share a couple of great projects by Bethany Crowell that she created with the products included in our amazing December 2012 Hip Kit. I love that she uses instagram photos on her layouts. Camera phones today have pretty decent cameras on them, and this has made taking spontaneous photos of life’s little moments so simple, and I love seeing these moments featured on scrapbook pages.
I think Bethany’s use of the October Afternoon Little Flyers is really clever. Rather than use them as flags with the little toothpicks, she looped them around the baker’s twine to create a banner. Also, the wood veneers are really quite soft – and they can be cut in half with your scissors or a craft knife. I love how Bethany cut the “happy” veneer in half so that it would fit onto the orange banner flag.
Hope you are feeling inspired to get crafty! Bethany’s projects always make me want to get busy. :D Thanks so much for visiting today. Tomorrow I will have a few more projects created with our December Hip Kit to share with you – so make sure to stop by to check them out. xo – Kimberly
