Hello, hello!
Bethany here to share another layout created with our fabulous April Hip Kit. This kit ranks right up there as one of my all time favorite Hip Kits! I love the colors, the patterned papers, ALL of the fantastic embellishments…so much goodness in one kit!

I love that there are so many contrasting patterned papers in this kit…and they’re so fun to mix & match!  I also love the greys in this kit. Even in paisley, plaid & polka dots, the grey patterned paper tones down all the other colors and print combos. Grey is such a great neutral and I find that I’m using it more and more in my projects, just as much as I use other standards like white, cream or kraft.

On this layout, I used random strips of the different papers, along with the Crate Paper border stickers and some random stitching…some straight stitching and some zig zag stitch. I used a bunch of different patterned papers, but was able to leave a lot of open white space (or in this case, red space!) on the layout…so it didn’t turn out too busy.

The little cluster of embellishments on the right hand side provided some balance to the layout. And the ABB? Those are my sweet niece’s initials.
