February always sneaks up on me. One minute I’m still putting away Christmas supplies and the next I’m pulling out pinks and reds and wondering where January went. But this year the February 2026 Hip Kits showed up and I honestly gasped when I opened the box. The Life Right Now collection has this energy to it. Not overly Valentine-y, not cold-weather-blah. Just… alive. Like a really good Tuesday afternoon with your favorite playlist on.
Let me walk you through the color palette, some layout ideas I’ve been thinking about, and the products that make this whole collection work.
The February 2026 Mood Board Color Palette
OK so the cardstock kit this month? Eight colors and I genuinely want to use all of them. That almost never happens. Here’s the full scrapbook color palette:
Hot Pink

Gold
Lavender
Petal
Seafoam
River
Atmosphere
Milkshake
The reason this palette works so well is that it doesn’t commit to just one mood. Petal and Lavender lean romantic – perfect for Valentine pages or love-themed layouts if that’s your thing. Hot Pink and Gold are punchy and fun. And then Seafoam and River come out of nowhere with this fresh, almost spring-like quality that keeps everything from feeling predictable.
Atmosphere and Milkshake are the real MVPs though. They’re the quiet ones that make all the loud colors behave.
Try these combinations:
Bold and Graphic
Hot Pink + Gold + Atmosphere
Soft and Romantic
Petal + Lavender + Milkshake
Fresh and Playful
Seafoam + River + Gold
February Scrapbook Layout Ideas
I keep coming back to three different directions with this collection. Each one uses a different corner of the palette.
Bold and Graphic
Hot Pink cardstock as your base. Strips of Go for Bold and Check This Out patterned papers laid out in a rough grid. One big photo with a thin gold mat. Atmosphere cardstock for the journaling block. And those chipboard frames from the Embellishment Kit to pull it all together. This layout has attitude. It’s the one you make when you’re feeling brave.
Soft and Romantic
Your Valentine’s Day layout lives here. Milkshake cardstock for a warm base. Pretty and Delicate and You’re So Special papers with torn edges because perfect straight lines would ruin the vibe. Lavender photo mat. Tuck some of those small die cuts from the Embellishment Kit around your photo cluster. The puffy alphabet stickers spell out something simple. Keep it quiet. Keep it real.
Fresh and Playful
Seafoam background. Circles punched from Blooming Good and Frame This Moment papers tucked behind the photos. A strip of River cardstock along the bottom to ground it. Ephemera shapes from the Pocket Life Cards scattered around like confetti. A touch of the gold watercolor powder brushed over a few elements. This one looks effortless and that’s the whole point.
The February 2026 Kits
Here’s what’s in the collection and why each kit matters for this mood board.
February 2026 Main Kit (with Patterned Paper) – $44.95
Your complete February 2026 scrapbooking bundle is here! This kit features the exclusive Life Right Now collection with tons of fun embellishments, stickers, die cuts, and an 12-sheet 12×12 paper pack. Everything coordinates perfectly to help you capture your everyday stories beautifully!
Twelve sheets of patterned paper from the Life Right Now line. Bold graphics on one side, something softer on the other. I’ve been flipping papers back and forth trying to decide which side to use and honestly both sides are good. They coordinate with all eight cardstock colors which means you really can’t go wrong with combinations.
February 2026 Embellishment Kit – $32.95
Get ready to embellish your memories! This exclusive January 2026 kit features six packages of coordinating goodies from the Let’s Get Real collection – chipboard frames, floral die cuts, foam alphabets, puffy stickers, and more to add personality and pizzazz to every page you create.
This kit is stuffed. Chipboard frames, floral die cuts, cardstock sticker sheets, puffy alphabet stickers, mini puffies, ephemera, tags. It’s the kit where you open the bag and pieces fall out because there’s so much in there. I always end up reaching for the chipboard frames first but the floral die cuts are the real standouts this month.
February 2026 Color Kit – $25.95
Add a splash of color and sparkle to your projects! This February 2026 kit includes three gorgeous Lindy’s Gang watercolor powders in pink, yellow, and rose shades, plus a shimmer mica powder that makes everything shine beautifully.
Three Lindy’s Gang watercolor powders (a warm pink, a soft yellow, and a dusty rose) plus a shimmer mica powder. I sprinkled the shimmer powder over a Milkshake cardstock background the other day and it looked like morning light on paper. These powders mix beautifully on watercolor paper too if you want to make your own custom backgrounds.

Create stunning scrapbook pages with this curated collection of 16 premium cardstock sheets in 8 beautiful exclusive colors! From vibrant Hot Pink to soft Seafoam, this kit has everything you need for your next creative project.
Sixteen sheets total. Eight colors, two of each. This is the backbone of everything. Photo mats, journaling cards, title letters, backgrounds, die cut bases. I always wish they’d send three sheets of my favorites but two is enough if you plan ahead.
February 2026 Paper Kit – $21.95
Create stunning scrapbook layouts with 12 exclusive patterned paper sheets from the Life Right Now collection! This February 2026 kit features gorgeous designs perfect for capturing all your favorite memories.

Techniques Worth Trying
Some things I’ve been playing with (or want to try) using this month’s supplies:
- Watercolor wash backgrounds – Mix the pink and yellow powders on wet cardstock. They bleed into each other and create this sunset-y tone that looks ridiculously good behind photos matted on Petal or Gold.
- Fussy cutting the florals – The flowers on Blooming Good and Pretty and Delicate are practically begging to be cut out and layered over solid cardstock. It takes forever but it’s worth it.
- Color blocking – Big geometric pieces of cardstock arranged in a grid. Hot Pink next to Seafoam shouldn’t work but it absolutely does. Try it.
- Stacking the embellishments – Chipboard frame on the bottom, floral die cut on top, ephemera piece tucked behind. Pop the top layer up with foam dots. Instant dimension.
- Valentine cards from scraps – Blend the watercolor powders along the edges of a Milkshake panel for the prettiest Valentine cards you’ll ever make. Seriously, keep your paper scraps this month.
- Shimmer on neutral cardstock – Brush the mica powder over Atmosphere cardstock, stamp over it, then journal on top. The shimmer is subtle but it catches the light when you turn the page.
